Standard 625 APPENDIX A - Elementary Work

Appendix A outlines work the owner of a private aircraft can legally perform on thier airplane. Please note that the CARS are more restrictive than FAA regulations when it comes to owner performed work on certificated aircraft.


Standard 625 APPENDIX B - Maintenance Schedules

Appendix B outlines the minimum acceptable maintenance schedules both in time between, and required inspection items.


Standard 625 APPENDIX C - Out of Phase Tasks and Equipment Maintenance Requirements

Appendix C details items requiring inspection or overhaul outside of the phased inspections required by Appendix B are covered by Appendix C. Some of the items listed are engines, propellors, altimeters, transponders, tachometers, ELTs, magnetic compasses, and survival equipment.


Standard 625 APPENDIX D - Operator's Approved Maintenance Schedule

Appendix D provides information for operators wishing to establish maintenance schedules that do not follow Appendix B rules. If you're pursuing a Progressive Maintenance Schedule, this is the standard that would apply.


Standard 625 Appendix F - Transfer of Aeronautical Products Between Maintenance Schedules

This appendix outlines requirements for moving from one maintenance program to another. eg. from 100 hour to progressive.

This appendix details the requirements for the inspection of aircraft after abnormal occurrences and gives general advice on the performance of such inspections.
