The term AOG stands for Aircraft On Ground. It is used throughout commercial aviation to indicate an aircraft that is grounded and requires immediate attention.

AOG at Langley Airport

If you’re a commercial or private operator and you find yourself AOG at Langley Airport, during business hours, we’ll do everything in our power to get you operational. For our regular commercial customers, we also provide an after hours emergency phone number.

If your commercial aircraft is AOG at any other airport in the lower mainland we can usually get to it within a matter of hours. Private aircraft may take a little longer, but one way or another, we'll be working our absolute best to get you ariborne as soon as possible.

AOG Outside the Lower Mainland

If your AOG aircraft is some distance from the lower mainland we offer a couple of options. If there is no AME at your AOG aircraft’s location, we’ll get one of our most experienced AMEs to it as fast as we can, but that usually means next day at the earliest.

If there is an AME at the remote location, you can have us act as your proxy to work with the local AME by telephone. Because we know your airplane well, we can usually point out any idiosyncrasies, repair histories, known issues, etc, which can save the local AME hours of troubleshooting. We can also pre-review the work recommended by the remote AME to make sure it and the bill being charged are appropriate.

Our charge for this service is very reasonable, and it always pays for itself in faster turnaround time and the assurance of fair and reasonable repair costs.
